Fuerteventura has a staggering 150 km of wonderful sandy beaches and crystal clear water. All you have to do is choose the kind of beach you prefer: small and secluded, wide and spacious, calm or with waves. The Jandia and Corralejo Nature Reserves are veritable playgrounds for travellers with all kinds of different tastes. The Corralejo dunes are the largest in the entire Canary archipelago and are home to a wide variety of animal and plant species that you won't see anywhere else. If you want great views of the local area, your best bet is to hike to Pico de la Zarza, Fuerteventura's highest point at 807 m, or play a round on Fuerteventura's superb golf courses. The Salinas del Carmen and the associated salt museum show you just how important this industry has been throughout the history of Fuerteventura.
Holiday destination
Good bus links in the area. Head out on foot for just a few minutes to reach the wonderful beach, the beach promenade and various shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, buses, taxis and one of the supermarkets. There's an 18-hole golf course nearby and a pharmacy and German-speaking doctors in town. Take the bus/car to visit a very beautiful botanical garden and a number of other dreamy beaches. Puerto del Rosario is home to some large shopping centres, the airport ...

Wir hatten 2 schöne Urlaubswochen in der Villa del Sol.Wir waren schon 2 mal in der Ferienanlage. Es ist sehr ruhig.Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet,keine abgenutzten Möbel.Das Beste ist im Garten der Whirlpool den wir sehr oft benutzt haben. Das Wetter war auch sehr gut. Die Villa del Sol können wir 100% weiter empfehlen.(kleine Anmerkung,es gibt eine große Plastikschüssel und eine kleinere Plastikschüssel. Die kleine Schüssel ist gerissen von oben bis unten,konnte nicht benutzt werden)
