Holiday destination
Enjoy the Italian life as in a picture book in the lively winemaking village of Mombaruzzo, known for its wine and amaretti. Within walking distance there are grocery stores, cafe, osterias, a pizzeria, bank, pharmacy, doctor and naturally amaretti bakeries. The holiday home is an ideal base for excursions into the Piedmont region: After a 30-minute drive through the vineyards, you're in Acqui Terme (known for its thermal baths and the charming old town), Alba or Asti. The sea, with the lovely villages of Camogli or Portofin is a good hour away. For those who enjoy shopping, there are weekly and antique markets in the area, and a designer outlet in Seravalle (30 minutes by car). Milan, Genoa and Turin are 1 hour away.
Getting there
Via Gotthard/San Bernardino: Via Milano, in Alessandria Sud leave the motorway and continue for 20 minutes to Mombaruzzo. Via Gand St. Bernard: motorway to Alesssandrio Sud, then as above.

Wir haben an Pfingsten 2012 unsere Ferien in der Villa Pesce verbracht. Die Wohnung Brachetto war top ausgerüstet, es fehlte einem an nichts, vom Kinderbett, bis Kinderstuhl und Spielzeug, alles für glückliche Kinder und Eltern :-). Der Pasta Abend mit allen Gästen, die tolle Betreuung von Paola vor Ort und das mittelalterliche Dorf, Restaurants wo Kinder sehr willkommen sind - wir haben in vollen Zügen genossen und kommen wieder.

What a relaxing holiday under the Italian sun in beautiful Villa Pesce. It was great to cut grapes with Giancarlo and Francesca and to get the cooking lessons from Paola. I would love to come back and catch up with everybody. Kind regards, Yvette & Olivier
