    L'ARIETE is set amidst the Umbrian hills, in between the quiet and picturesque medieval hamlet of Montone and the vibrant Umbrian capital Perugia, just across the border to Tuscany and the Marche. Montone, voted one of Italy´s most beautiful medieval villages, is just a 5 min drive up the hill and offers good infrastructure for daily needs - grocery, bakery & pharmacy, post office & bank, a couple of restaurants & bars. Perugia, full of history, art, shops and typical Restaurants, can be reached in just 25 min. Day excursions will get you to most of Central Italy´s famous places: The world heritage site of Assisi and Arezzo (45 min), the impressive architecture of Orvieto and Spoleto (1 h), the breathtaking beauty of Florence (1.5 h).
    Getting there
    The Countryhouse is easy to reach, just half an hour away from Perugia with its international airport, or 1,5 hours to Florence.

    Die Entscheidung unseren Urlaub in Ariete zu verbringen war das Beste was uns passieren konnte. Noch nie hatten wir eine so wunderschöne, liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft. Unser Appartement war kuz gesagt ein Traum! Der Außenbereich war paradiesisch und die beiden Gastgeber, Andreas und Martina haben uns mit ihren guten Tipps zu versteckten Örtchen geführt, die wir in unseren Büchern nicht gefunden hätten. Eine ganz tolle Sache war Martinas Kinderworkshop! Kreatives Gestalten mit Ton, das Urlaubshighlight unserer Kids! Martina's Abendessen im schönen großen Hof bei romantischer Beleuchtung, charmant und humorvoll von Andreas serviert war immer der krönende Abschluss unserer traumhaften Tage. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Vielen Dank nochmal an Euch beide! Eure Kastners aus Berlin

    Wir haben lange im Internet recherchiert, und uns aufgrund der wunderschönen Homepage und der stimmungsvollen Bilder und Texte für L´Ariete entschieden. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen - so ein liebevoll geführter Betrieb ist uns auf unseren vielen Reisen nach Italien noch nicht untergekommen. Martina und Andreas haben hier ein kleines Paradies erschaffen, und ihre Begeisterung für Umbrien ist ansteckend. Ihre Tipps haben uns an Orte geführt, die wir wohl allein nicht gefunden hätten. Am Abend haben wir unter dem Sternenhimmel Martina´s Kochkünste genossen, den Nachtigallen gelauscht ...einfach schön! Ein großes Dankeschön an Lariete! Helmut & Maria
