This charming mountain cabin lies entirely alone at the edge of the forest on Stubnerkogel with a wide, magnificent view over the Gastein valley. Away from the stress and hustle of everyday life, groups of friends and vacationers can experience carefree days amidst a unique panorama.
Rustic outside, so charming inside
The cozy cabin appears very rustic from the outside and harmoniously blends in with the unique mountain landscape thanks to its old, dark wood.
Some of the rooms have been renovated and equipped with new elements in a rustic style.
The old masonry of the cabin and creaky wooden floorboards have been preserved, as has the original wood stove in the comfortable kitchen.
The sauna with access to the outdoors is the highlight of this cabin-style holiday home.
Your summer at the cabin with family
Surrounding the mountain cabin, you will find pure nature, colorfully blooming alpine meadows, or the snowy winter landscape. There are virtually unlimited opportunities for active vacationers and athletes to truly experience the mountains. Hikers, walkers, mountain bikers, or ski touring enthusiasts can start right from the cabin. Whether with family or friends, this holiday cabin is perfect for spending time together.
With skis right to the cabin
The Angertal slope leads directly to the cabin during good snow conditions. A slope from the Schlossalmbahn and Sommerkogel is also possible right in front of the house (about 50 m) when the snow conditions are favorable. The piste is groomed; unfortunately, the ascent is only possible from the valley station.
A trip to the summit of the local mountain Stubnerkogel is always worth it: In addition to the 140 m long, gently swaying suspension bridge, there is a new, attractive viewing platform directly opposite with the evocative name “Glocknerblick.”
Tip: For all mountain fans: The house is ideally situated for ski tourers - various routes start right in front of the house. For relaxation, visit the Alpentherme Gastein: the thermal spa with the Relax and Family World forms the heart of the Alpentherme Gastein. The thermal water comes from the depths of the High Tauern.
