Holiday destination
This detached holiday home with a large garden is located in a child-friendly park called Roosdunen, featuring a heated outdoor pool (including swimming pass), tennis court, and mini-golf course. The holiday home is situated on the edge of the wooded nature reserve Roosdunen. A walk through the dunes takes you to the beach. The authentic village of Ballum, with shops and restaurants, is also within walking distance. Nearby are 2 riding stables and a golf course.
Getting there
By car:
The journey is via the motorway from Holwerd.
The crossing costs about 95 euros per car and about 15 euros per person.
The ferry should be booked well in advance.
You can also park your car at the parking lot and travel to the holiday apartment on the island by bike, bus, or taxi. However, the island is so large that it is worth taking the car with you.
We almost always take the car with us, as you can conveniently park at the house and have your luggage right there.
Arrival by train is also possible.
