The Atelier-Hof is a former winemaker's farmstead in the midst of the sunny Kaiserstuhl that has been transformed into artist's workshops and holiday homes. The Winzerhaus was reconstructed as a holiday home in 2015. Artworks of different artists make it into a unique and special place for your vacation.
The house is ideal for spending time with family or friends. It has a cozy common room with a tiled stove and a large table for up to 10 persons as well as a room with a piano, books, and board games. Guests can enjoy a private garden with fig trees, herbs, and roses. There are tables and benches for up to 10 persons and barbecue equipment as well as a lockable bike shed. (100m)
There is a public open-air pool 200 meters away. In about 4 kilometer distance, you'll find a beautiful bathing lake with a lawn for sunbathing and trees for shade. Several thermal baths and water parks are in the proximity.

Cyclists are happy here. You will find both level paths, for example around the Kaiserstuhl or along the Rhine, and steep challenges such as the Texas-Pass or the nearby Vosges and Black Forest. Bikes and E-Bikes are rented out locally. The Winzerhof has a lockable basement for bikes.
The Kaierstuhl is a former volcano in the Rhine Valley and is said to be the Tuscany of Germany because of its sunny climate. The village of Oberrotweil is in the center of the Kaiserstuhl. It is largest village of Vogtsburg and a recognized holiday and health resort. The region is a paradise for hikers and cyclists due to its wealth of hiking trails and the variety of mountainous and level paths. The nearby Rhine and Rheinaue wetlands as well as numerous lakes allow for much observation, for swimming, and relaxation. Freiburg, Basel, Colmar, and the "Route de Vin" are within easy reach.
By train: Nearby train stations are Breisach (about 10km away) or Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil (1.3 km away).
By car: On the highway A5, take the exit "Riegel" if you come from the North, exit "Bad Krozingen" if you come from the South, or exit "Freiburg Mitte"; they are all in about 15 km distance.
By plane: the closest airport is the Europort Basel/ Mulhouse. There is a regular bus from the airport to Freiburg.
From Freiburg or Breisach, you can get to Oberrotweil by bus. The bus stops are very close to the holiday home. As holiday guest, you can obtain the "Konus Card" which allows you to use buses and trains in the area of South Baden for free. The Konus Card costs 1.50 Euro per person and day.

For the booking to become effective, a down payment of 20% of the rental price must be made within 10 days of the confirmation date. The deposit will not be refunded in the event of a later withdrawal if we can no longer find a tenant for this period.
Additional costs: Tourist tax "cone card" for the municipality in the amount of 1.50 Euro per person per day. Children between 6 and 14 years pay half price. You get free travel in all public transport such as bus, tram, S-Bahn, regional trains to Basel Karlsruhe and in the Black Forest.
