The holiday resort Barbat is located right at the entrance of the island of Rab in the Kvarner Bay when coming from the ferry port Misnjak towards the town of Rab. The village, with a population of 1,200, which seamlessly transitions into the locality of Banjol, offers beautiful beaches and swimming opportunities in a tranquil atmosphere.
Getting there
From Munich, it is approximately 635 km to Barbat. Due to the ferry connection and the drive along the coast, one should calculate a driving time of about 7.5 hours. Rijeka Airport is located on the neighboring island of Krk. From there, the best way to get to the island of Rab is by rental car or organized transport (imperial.hr or Rab-Activity).
