The holiday home, which was fully ecologically renovated and made wheelchair accessible between 2019 and 2021 is located in the countryside near Lake Constance in the scenically beautifully set health resort of Deggenhausertal.
The distance to Lake Constance is approx. 16 km, to Castle Lake Salem approx. 8 km. The separate building has a big terrace and a garden area which is enclosed by trees and shrubs. The farm is part of the Winkelhof hamlet, which lies on the outskirts of Untersiggingen.
The Winkelhof hamlet is located on the north of the Gehrenberg and is almost fully enclosed by forest. The closest farm is about 400 m away. The holiday home is part of a farm. The farm has 2 hectares of land with old organic fruit trees and orchard meadows, however, is otherwise no longer actively farmed. The holiday home has space for up to 5 people, there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with a kitchenette.

During the renovation, we took extra care that both the house, the terrace and the access to the parking spaces were designed wheelchair-accessible. We used mostly environmentally friendly materials (e.g. wood fibre insulation boards, mineral interior plaster, breathable silicate paint, untreated wooden facade made from larch wood). The roof, facade and floor were extensively insulated in order to optimise the ecological footprint.

The holiday home is nestled in rural natural surroundings, starting right outside the front door.
In the direct environment, forests, meadows, pastures and streams offer a wide range of possibilities to explore nature. Excellent premium hiking routes, a swing golf course, an archery course and further highlights such as popular restaurants can be found directly in Deggenhausertal. Cyclists value the many cycling routes in the region.
The Castle Lake Salem is a popular bathing lake approx. 8 km away. Lake Constance is approx. 16 km away (e.g. the well-known city of Meersburg or the wine village of Hagnau). The entire Lake Constance region offers a wide range of tourist attractions.
Access from the main junction in Untersiggingen (Deggenhausertal municipality):
Approx. 150 m towards Markdorf
Turn left and follow the sign for Winkelhof
After approx. 1 km, it is the first single-standing farm on the right-hand side (Winkelhof 2)

In case of cancellation, at least 42 days before the start of the rental period: The down payment is refunded in full.
In case of cancellation 28 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the down payment is refunded
In case of no-show without cancellation or short notice cancellation less than 28 days before rental period: no refund
COVID-19: if you cannot go on holiday due to Covid-19 or if you can only spend a part of the holiday in the holiday home, then you get a full refund for the missed days of your holiday.

Wir, die Familie Voss wohnen auf einem ehemaligen Bauernhof im schönen Hinterland vom Bodensee. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind ca. 400 m entfernt. Zum Hof gehört das separate Ferienhaus Winkelhof 2 mit einem riesigen Grundstück. Wir selbst (Reiner und Rita Voss), unser Sohn mit Partnerin und unsere Enkelin wohnen im Haus Winkelhof 4 gegenüber.
