Holiday destination
Shopping facilities are approx. 1.5 km away, the Baltic Sea beach Weidefeld, which is free of tourist tax, is a 10-minute drive away and a bathing spot on the Schlei is 80 m away. Slipway for water sports and a nice children's playground are also only 80 m away from the holiday home Pippa.
The picturesque harbour town of Kappeln (approx. 3 km away) enchants with maritime flair. Restaurants are lined up along Kappeln harbour, bordered by the old town. Old smokehouse, museum harbour and Angelner steam railway: tradition is held in high regard in Kappeln. Enjoy a boat trip on the Schlei.
Discover the picturesque Schlei villages (best by bike). Water sports are also very popular in the Schlei region. Visit the towns of Schleswig (with the Viking museum Haithabu), Flensburg or the seaside resort of Eckernförde. The Geltinger Bay north of Kappeln is known for its beautiful and numerous natural beaches and a large nature reserve with wild horses and numerous bird species. There is much to discover!
Getting there
By car (from the south): A7 to Rendsburg, B203 to Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln or A7, A215 to Kiel, B76 Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln.
By train: train ride to Eckernförde, Bus 3010 Kappeln/Kopperby. During the saison (until the end of October): Kappelner Dampfeisenbahn Eckernförde-Kappel (especially at the weekends).

Host informationMy name is Kerstin Lueckow. My husband and I bought recently the very cozy holiday home "Pippa" (Danish style) in Kappeln/Kopperby . We start the rental at the beginning of October 2021.

Wer meint, man könne mit einem Autisten in den Sommerferien keine ruhige und gleichzeitig fantastisch gelegene und dazu super ausgestattete und sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft finden, wird hier eines besseren belehrt.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und sympathisch und geht auf Anregungen ein, so konnten wir dieses Jahr einen Ventilator und ein Mückenlampe vor Ort vorfinden, so dass sich unsere Mückenstiche in Grenzen hielten.
Nach der Sauna noch mal schnell in die Schlei springen: so fühlt sich Urlaub an :-) .
Unser autistischer Sohn hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Kein Verkehrslärm, Nachbarn, die man nicht hört, viel Natur und eine schöne Aussicht.
Das Gesamtpaket hat alle Voraussetzungen für einen perfekten Urlaub.

sehr schönes haus an wunderbaren ruhigen Lage
sehr geschmackvolle Inneneinrichtung
gutes Gästedossier und gute Beschriftungen/Erklärungen im haus
perfekt für Menschen, die Ruhe und natur lieben und gerne selber kochen
Ich gehe da sehr gerne wieder hin
