Our vacation apartment is the perfect starting point for countless excursions to the beautiful Allgäu, the Lake Constance region, Austria and Switzerland.
The nearby mountains, such as the Pfänder with a fantastic view of Lake Constance or the Hochgrat near Oberstaufen invite you to hikes and winter sports. Cycling or mountain biking in the hinterland we can only recommend.
Lake Constance, which is only 10 km away, offers countless opportunities for water activities or boat trips, such as to the flower island of Mainau or Meersburg.
3 golf courses and several horse riding facilities are in the immediate vicinity.
Other great destinations for the whole family are the Skywalk in Scheidegg, Affenberg (monkey hill) in Salem, the pile dwellings in Unteruhldingen, the Ravensburger Spieleland (theme park) or the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen and much more.
Holiday destination
Hergensweiler is a beautiful village with about 2000 inhabitants. The romantic Leiblachtal with a beautiful small waterfall invites you to hikes and excursions. The nature reserve Stockenweiler-pond is in the immediate vicinity.
Our vacation apartment is quiet but centrally located, you can reach a supermarket, a bakery with café and a small Thai restaurant in a few minutes. In the village center is also a pizzeria with a nice beer garden.
Getting there
By car:
Freeway A96 direction Lindau, exit Weißensberg-Hergensweiler.
Turn left onto B12, 4km to Hergensweiler traffic circle.
Take the 3rd exit (Rupolzer Str.).
After approx. 100m turn right into Baumgarten.
Drive past the fire department to Baumgarten 1 (end of street).
Train: Hergatz or Lindau. Pick-up from the train station is possible.

Die Ferienwohnung ist toll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Alles ist vorhanden und es gibt genügend Stauraum um eigene Sachen unterzubringen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen Bäcker, der jeden Tag geöffnet hat und einen Netto-Markt. Außerdem einen leckeren Thai-Imbiss.
Die Lage ist zentral, man erreicht schnell Sehenswürdigkeiten und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Sehr zu empfehlen ist die selbstgemachte Marmelade von Frau Assfalg.
Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, super ausgestattet. Alles da was man braucht. Wir waren mit unseren beiden sechsjährigen Enkelkinder. Die Kinder konnten sich im Garten voll austoben.
Die Familie Asfalg ist super nett. Die Kinder konnten toben und schreien alles kein Problem.
Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, was wir ganz toll finden.
