Das Haus und der Hof sind an sich sehr schön. Hübsch rustikal authentisch dekoriert mit vielen Spielsachen für Kinder. Allerdings ist das Haus im Winter nicht bewohnbar. Trotz Heizung (die auch nicht vollständig funktionierte) und Kamin war in dem Haus eine Zimmertemperatur von 9 bis Max. 13 Grad. Das ist im Winter unzumutbar, vor allem mit Kindern. Es gibt auch nicht genügend Holzvorräte so dass eigenes Holz gekauft werden muss. Die Toilettenspülung war zudem leider defekt und das heiße Wasser der Dusche kam auch nur in Intervallen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht angemessen.

Wir waren zum siebten Mal in La Boursaie (erstmals in der Hauptsaison) und es hat uns wieder ausgezeichnet gefallen. Man kann dort prima entspannen. In der großzügigen Anlage finden alle Gäste ein ungestörtes Plätzchen mit Blick in den herrlichen Garten oder tollen Ausblicken in die normannische Landschaft. Zu dem Anwesen gehören ein Stück Wald mit einem Bach, Weiden und die charakteristischen Obstwiesen. Auch für sportliche Aktivitäten (Ballspiel etc.) ist viel Platz. Die Unterkunft ist aber auch gut geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie und auch die weniger bekannten hübschen Orte in unmittelbarer Umgebung lohnen einen Besuch. Die Gastgeber waren wie immer sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Und die Wohnung war natürlich gründlich gereinigt und desinfiziert.
