Le Mas is 9 km from the village of Saint Quentin la Poterie, known for its potters, its markets and its Mediterranean pottery museum.
The town of Uzès, 13 km from Le Mas, is one of the most beautiful small towns in France. It is known for its dukedom, its cathedral, the Fenestrelle tower, the "Haribo" candy museum and its Provençal market. It has a national stud farm with many horse shows in the summer.
At 20 km, you can discover the famous Pont du Gard and the impressive Gardon Gorges (canoe, kayak on site) and then go to Nîmes for shopping, the famous Roman city or climbing at the Capelle Masmolène or cycling on the many designated paths.
The possibilities for spending your free time are endless. The clean and clear rivers, such as the Cèze, the Gardon or the Ardèche, invite you for a refreshing swim on hot days. Explore or dine in the charming riverside village of Goudargues or in one of the small high-altitude villages of the Gard provençal Lussan (famous for its hand-painted guinea fowl), Aiguèze and la Roque sur Cèze are also perfect destinations for a short trip. wir sind nun seit gestern Abend wieder bei uns zu Hause. Voller fantastischer Eindrücke. Das Haus und der Garten sind wundervoll und wir haben es geliebt. Ein Haus mit Seele! Wir waren Freunde der brütenden Spatzen unter dem Dach, der Schnecken und tollen Pflanzen im Garten. Haben Duschwasser gesammelt und Blumen gegossen. Es hat großen Spaß gemacht! Wirklich! Francoise hat uns viel gezeigt und Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Wir haben sehr viel unternommen und waren auch von der Schönheit der Umgebung begeistert. Unser Urlaub war wunderbar und wir danken von Herzen, dass Sie es uns ermöglicht haben, diese Perle kennenzulernen. Wir empfehlen es auf alle Fälle weiter und kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke!
