CELEBRATE & ENJOY
Numerous festivals take place around Lake Constance. With a varied music and entertainment program, the festivities are a special experience for the whole family.
From traditional street festivals in different styles, to promenade-, village-, city-, harbor- and lake- festivals – not to forget numerous wine festivals, where a wide variety of Lake Constance wines are offered, as well as regional specialties such as fish dishes or fine cheese. With their varied entertainment program, these festivals are a unique experience for young and old.
You can find a rich culinary offer at Lake Constance with delicious regional and international specialties.
CULTURE
From traditional events from November to February with carnival parades, old taverns, folk theater performances, celebrations on a small and large scale, with traditional masks and special customs from every little village in our region, to concerts and theater events, medieval markets and regional markets in spring, summer and autumn, up to many Christmas markets in December.
In our region you find a number of Castles, palaces, museums, and old villages, beautiful towns with exciting city tours, and regional specialties such as the medieval programs at Meersburg Castle or the “Culture Carriage Ride” in Überlingen.
ART
We are lucky to have Peter and Miriam Lenk producing their works of art right on our doorstep, many of which can be viewed in Bodman and Ludwigshafen.
Works by the artist Jeanet Hönig are displayed in our house, and in many places around the lake, you will find a variety of galleries and unique exhibitions.
SPORTS
If you are into water sports, our apartment is the right place for you, as you can go sailing, paddling, canoeing, fishing, swimming, wakeboarding, water skiing and stand up paddling. Apart from that, our location is ideal for hiking and cycling tours (bike rental in town – 500 m).
Those who prefer horse riding, playing golf or tennis, or climbing, will find a variety of options in the vicinity.
In winter you can enjoy the thermal baths with large saunas by the lake. Three of them are located in the immediate area of our holiday apartments.
Holiday destination
The location of the apartment is ideal:
although the apartment is situated in a quiet residential area, the beach and the lake promenade, town center, grocery stores, doctors, restaurants, playgrounds, the park, and the train station are only a few minutes' walk away.
Typical for our region is the glittering water of the lake, blooming / fruit-bearing / autumn-colored or snow-covered fruit trees, white mountain peaks on the horizon, as well as magnificent baroque buildings, colorful half-timbered towns, and good food.
Our holiday apartment is ideal for those who love NATURE:
The Aachried nature reserve extends between Bodman and Ludwigshafen, where rare birds and plants have found refuge.
Many boat tours, hiking trails and bike paths grant you access to special places in nature. The Lake Constance cycle path is a 260 km circuit around the lake.
Getting there
You will find our SeeArt Apartments at the western end of the Überlinger See.

You can come to us by bike, boat, train, motorcycle, scooter, on foot, car or airplane.
The train station is 800 m away from the apartment and in a few minutes you are on the A 81 motorway towards Stuttgart or the B 31 towards Friedrichshafen / Lindau. The airports of Zurich / Stuttgart / Friedrichshafen are very easy to reach.
We have covered parking spaces for bicycles and motorbikes, we have great hiking trails that lead to our front door and parking spaces for your wheeled vehicle in front of the house

Host informationWe have renovated the house with the apartments in 2019/2020. We have two grown children, we are both self-employed and we love Lake Constance and are very grateful and happy to be able to live here. It's wonderful here, mostly very quiet, when we have guests and partying it can get loud ;-) We like to do sports, especially water sports, in winter we like to go skiing and boarding in the mountains and we love it to travel and meet new people.
We look forward to welcoming our holiday guests.

Die gemütliche FeWo war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und außer einer Schere in der Küche habe ich nichts vermisst. Tolle Terrasse mit Abendsonne. Den Pool und die Sauna habe ich nicht genutzt, sind aber weitere Goodies. Sehr nette Vermieter. Ich für meinen Teil kann die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
