Cancellation policy
Cancellation up to 6 months before the start of the rental period is free of charge.
In the event of a cancellation up to 4 months before the start of the rental period, there is a payment obligation of 60% of the rent.
In the event of a cancellation less than 4 months before the start of the rental period, there is a payment obligation of 80% of the rent.
The receipt of the declaration by us is decisive for compliance with the above deadlines. The income from renting the holiday property to other parties will be offset against the payment obligation assumed by you upon termination. In the event that you do not cancel the holiday property, but do not claim it either, you remain obliged to pay the rent. In your favor, saved expenses and income from any other rental of the holiday property will be offset against this payment obligation. We recommend that you take out travel insurance.

Location
Medemblik is a picturesque small town on the IJsselmeer with old houses and beautiful alleys, as well as cozy and lively harbors. The city is also known as an international water sports center. Sailing athletes from all over the world come together here.
From the furnished terrace of the holiday apartment (with jetty) there is a direct connection to the extensive network of canals. You can use these not only to take a trip to the port of the city, but also to nature reserves and neighboring cities. Direct access (through a lock) to the IJsselmeer is possible via the port of Medemblik.
Sights in the area include museums, a moated castle, the historic city center, boat trips and a museum railway.
The North Sea coast with its miles of beaches and the famous seaside resorts of Bergen, Camperduin and Callantsoog are approx. 35km from Medemblik and are well worth a trip.
The “cheese towns” of Alkmaar, Hoorn and Edam as well as Den Helder with a ferry connection to the island of Texel are also suitable as excursion destinations and are at a similar distance to the above destinations. It is approx. 50 km to the capital Amsterdam.
