The holiday home is located in Oberweid, a former border village, in the heart of the Rhön. It makes a great base for hikes and all kinds of excursions.
For your shopping or you can drive to Hilders/Tann (8 km) with countless shopping facilities and restaurants suited for nearly every taste.
In a radius of 40 km you'll find diverse holiday offers.
Within walking distance are Noah's Segel (museum) and a 22-metre high observation tower with a fantastic view over the entire Rhön region.

A7: Exit Fulda-Mitte onto the B458 towards Hilders, Simmershausen, Oberweid;
A66: End of the autobahn towards Fulda, Tann/Rhön, Dippach, Unterweid, Oberweid;

Host informationWelcome dear guests of all ages. We are Siegrid and Klaus Morzeck. We love nature, enjoy travelling, and we are grandparents. This is one of the reasons why we adapted our property and prices for children of all ages. Needless to say, it is also a place where adults can feel comfortable and regenerate.

Wir haben erholsame Tage in diesem tollen Ferienhaus in der Rhön verbracht und waren begeistert. Das Haus liegt in absolut ruhiger Lage mit einem großen, gepflegten Garten. Es gibt in jeder Ecke des Anwesens etwas Neues und Aufregendes zu entdecken. Auch für uns waren die kleinen Häschen und neugierigen Zicklein immer einen Blick wert, für Kinder ein Paradies. Der Pool war allerdings unser Highlight - groß, sehr sauber und perfekt zum Abkühlen an den heißen Tagen, wir haben es genossen! Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man muss nur fragen. Sie hatten tolle Ausflugsempfehlungen parat, incl. einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang, die wir gerne angenommen haben. Fazit - die Rhön ist doch schön! Letztendlich haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können es absolut weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren mit drei Teenagern hier zu Gast und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das ganze Grundstück ist super gepflegt. Die Kinder liebten den Pool und kümmerten sich gerne um die Häschen und die Ziegen. Die Ruhe dort ist genau das richtige um sich fernab vom Trubel zu erholen. Auch die Sauna für kühlere Abende war eine schöne Auszeit. Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und kümmerten sich super um uns. Sie waren immer für ein freundliches Gespräch da und gaben uns viele gute Ausflugstipps mit den Kids. Wir können es nur jedem empfehlen hier Urlaub zu machen. Viele liebe Grüße
