Liege lies an hour’s drive away, home to beautiful, rich heritage and its various castles and cathedrals. Forests can be accessed on foot for walks and cycle around.

Settle on the garden furniture to enjoy the breakfast whilst you soak some sun. Barbecue shall treat you to some delicious, mouth-melting smoked meat and make your evenings delightful. Parking will keep your car safe. Kitchen is well-equipped to let you cook and follow a wholesome diet while here.

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Lage ist gut und zentral, von hier aus kann man schöne Ausflüge nach Monschau, Eupen, Spa, ins Hohe Venn und zum Stausee La Gileppe unternehmen. Die Einrichtung des Ferienhauses ist gut. Schade, dass der Trockner kaputt war. Im Haus muss man mit verschiedenen hohen Schwellen sehr vorsichtig sein und wenn es draußen sehr heiß ist, kann man es drinnen nicht kühl halten. Man kann den Garten nicht als Garten bezeichnen, er ist eine große Wildnis. Der Eigentümer selbst gab dies zu. Es war im und um das Haus herum nicht sauber. Wenn dem mehr Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt würde, wäre es viel attraktiver, wiederzukommen. Die Nachbarn waren auch nicht freundlich und sagten sofort, dass wir aus Datenschutzgründen nicht auf die Dachterrasse dürften?? Sie hatten die ganze Zeit ihre Hunde im Garten und bellten bei der kleinsten Kleinigkeit.
Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit, was aber vor allem an den Ausflügen lag.
Schade ist auch, dass der Besitzer nicht ein einziges Mal nachgefragt hat, ob es uns gefallen hat. Wir haben den Schlüssel einfach dort zurückgehängt, wo er sein sollte, als wir abreisten. Vielleicht wurden wir in unserem Urlaub von 2018 bis 2020 von der österreichischen Herzlichkeit verwöhnt.
