From the farm you can reach the Baltic Sea, which is only 700 m away, via an idyllic footpath. During the sail season you have the possibility to buy bread rolls at the harbour. This is highly appreciated by our guests with dogs.
Im Gelting-Mole (1 km away) there is a sauna, open Monday until Friday.
The surroundings of the Bay of Gelting offer pure nature, culture and recreation!
The nature reserve "Geltinger Birk" invites you to recreative walks or bicycle tours. You can watch countless birds and wild horses which were set free in 2002 there.
The port Flensburg and Schlwesig with its cathedral, the famous museums in the castle of Gottorf and the viking museum in Haithabu are exciting destinations for "Young and Old".
Getting there
Take the motorway A7 until exit Rendsburg / Eckernförde. Then go on until Kappeln.
The B199 takes you through "Kneipp-cure" town Gelting. From here it is only 1,5 km to "Gut Ohrfeld".

Wir haben mit unserer Familie trotz Corona eine wunderbare Zeit im Kutscherhaus verbracht. Der Lieblingsort aller war der Sitzplatz unter dem Walnussbaum. Hier haben wir oft bei tollem und warmen Wetter gegessen, manchmal auch etwas Arbeit erledigt, den Sonnenuntergang bewundert und einfach nur die Seele baumeln lassen. Wunderschön auch der Fußweg zur Ostsee... Beeinträchtigungen durch Corona gab es praktisch nicht. In einer Entfernung von 5 Fahrradminuten gibt es eine Testmöglichkeit. Wir haben den Test alle 3 Tage immer mit einem kleinen Ausflug verbunden. Das Haus ist sehr schön ausgestattet und uns fehlte es an nichts. Da uns Schwiegermutter, Kinder und Enkelkind besucht haben, waren die beiden komplett ausgestatteten Badezimmer besonders vorteilhaft. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen in 2022!
