The village Salakovci is situated among the three tourist resorts: Rabac, Marina and Tunarica which are ten kilometers away. The nearest town is Labin (5 km far away). Labin is a small picturesque town situated on the eastern coast of Istria. It has 12.500 inhabitans. The town has an interesting history and there are several museums where you can see many events from the past.
Today Labin is called a town of art and culture. The most beautiful part of the town, the upper town is situated on the hill. It exists from the period of Roman empire. Old colourful houses surrounded with walls attract tourists.
