The village Salakovci is situated among the three tourist resorts: Rabac, Marina and Tunarica which are ten kilometers away. The nearest town is Labin (5 km far away). Labin is a small picturesque town situated on the eastern coast of Istria. It has 12.500 inhabitans. The town has an interesting history and there are several museums where you can see many events from the past. Today Labin is called a town of art and culture. The most beautiful part of the town, the upper town is situated on the hill. It exists from the period of Roman empire. Old colourful houses surrounded with walls attract tourists.

Wir sind angekommen und wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt von der Familie Frankovic mit einer Kleinigkeit zu essen und dem guten selbstgemachten Likör. Sie stehen einem mit Rat und Tat immer telefonisch zur Verfügung bei Bedarf. Das Häuschen ist sehr schön gelegen mit weitem Blick und absoluter Ruhe. Das Grundstück ist komplett 1,40m eingezäunt mit Mauer und Maschendrahtzaun. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Ein sehr schöner Garten der zum verweilen einlädt. Im Haus ist alles da was man benötigt so das man nicht sofort wieder einkaufen muss um Kleinigkeiten wie Toilettenpapier etc. zu kaufen. Es ist charmant eingerichtet und reicht vollkommen aus für 2 Erwachsene mit Hund. Die Außendusche ist super zum abkühlen oder Hund abduschen nach dem Baden im Meer (10min mit Auto entfern). Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit hier.

Sehr herzliche Begrüßung mit istrischen Schmankerln! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten - auch durch die Informationen von Herrn Frankovic - einen angenehmen Urlaub mit vielen Besichtigungen verbringen. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt im Haus Vezo - wir kommen sicher wieder!
