Eggen is a quiet mountain village, surrounded by the legendary slopes of the Latemar. A wonderful mountain landscape in the middle of the South Tyrolean Dolomites.
Not just the two famed mountains, the Rosengarten and Latemar, guarantee an eventful holiday for active people and nature lovers. The Obereggen hiking and skiing area is also just three kilometres away from Eggen! This makes the place an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, ski trips and Nordic walking tours.
The Obereggen ski area is only 5 minutes away by car and the Carezza ski area can be reached in 10 minutes. The magical Karersee can be reached in 15 minutes by car, or in about an hour via a leisurely hiking trail.

Getting there
Motorway exit Bozen Nord, towards Bozen for approx. 500m. Turn right towards Eggental. Third exit at the roundabout. Follow the signs towards Deutschnofen/Eggen for approx. 15km.

Unsere kleine Familie (3 P) hat wunderschöne 10 Tage in der Villa Völser verbracht.
In der Umgebung kann man unheimlich viel machen. Auch für nicht so großer Bergtouren mit Kind findet man immer was. Der Latemar ist da ein gutes Beispiel und gleich um die Ecke.
Restaurants kann man zu Fuß erreichen, aber auch mit dem Auto finden sich etliche in näherer Umgebung. Ein paar haben wir geschafft zu testen und die waren alles super. Übrigens alles Empfehlungen von Hedwig, unserer Gastgeberin, die super nett war, hilfreich... wie man sich das wünscht. Es gibt Brötchenservice und im Gemüsegarten durften wir uns auch bedienen. Danke nochmal!
Die Wohnung selber ist großzügig, super sauber, hell ...
Wenn wir nicht unterwegs waren, haben wir die Wohnung sehr genossen, v.a. die Terrasse.

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Die Räume sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die kleine private Sauna haben wir sehr genossen und das anschließende Bad im Bach war ein besonderes Erlebnis. Auch die Nähe zum Dorf, das gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist, war sehr angenehm. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Hedwig für den herzlichen Empfang, ihre Gastfreundschaft, sowie ihre vielen Tipps während unseres Aufenthaltes. Sie hatte für alle unsere Belange stets ein offenes Ohr.
