The magnificent hilly landscape is perfectly suited for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. The Piemont is famous for its excellent food and its outstanding wine. The well-known wine region of Barolo is only a few miles away from Lovera. The Mediterranean coast is only 45 miles south of here and in about one hour you can reach the alps in the west or Torino in the north. In the vicinity you can visit many beautiful, historically interesting little towns such as Alba, Cuneo, Ceva, Saluzzo, and Mondovi.
Holiday destination
The house is situated next to a little hazelnut forest on top of a hillside. The view over the beautiful hills of the Piemont, the plain of the river Po, and the high alps separating Italy from France is magnificent. It is half a mile away from the little village Lovera and 2 miles from the picturesque village Murazzano. The place is extremly quiet and the view spectacular.
Getting there
By car: From Torino take the A6 direction Savona, exit at Cherasco. From there 15 km to Dogliani and a further 10 km to Lovera By train: Milano, Torino, Fossano or Ceva. From there we will pick you up by car. We will send you a detailled description of the route.

Es war einfach wunderschön! Das geräumige Häuschen ist sehr ästhetisch und praktisch mit wertigen Gegenständen eingerichtet, es hat tolle Bücher, viele Sitzgelegenheiten für jede Tageszeit rund um das Haus. Auch vom Balkon ist die Sicht auf die Nusshaine und die Umgebung herrlich. Der Garten ist absolut idyllisch mit schönen Blumen, Kräutern und blühenden Büschen. Die Borgata liegt vollkommen ruhig inmitten von Natur und Kulturland. Hier kann man richtig runter kommen. Pia und Roman sind wunderbare und sehr sympatische Gastgeber, die uns mit ihren Tipps geholfen haben, die sehr schöne Gegend zu erkunden. Vielen Dank für alles!

Wir hatten erholsame Ferien in einem aufwendig restaurierten und sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Das Haus befindet sich in Hanglage mit herrlichem Blick auf ein ländliches Tal mit vorwiegend Haselnuss-Plantagen und Mischwald. Das weitläufige Grundstück beherbergt einen Haselnuss-Hain und einen artenreichen, sehr gepflegten Garten mit auch naturnahen Bereichen und diversen Sitzterrassen. Die Gegend (Murazzano, Dogliani, Belvedere Langhe) ist landschaftlich, kulinarisch und kulturell außerordentlich reizvoll. Pia und Roman sind perfekte Gastgeber: sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und mit jeder Menge Tipps bezüglich Land und Leuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
