Cancellation policy
The tenant may withdraw from the lease by written declaration to the landlord before the start of the rental period. The relevant date is when the landlord receives the notice of withdrawal. If the tenant withdraws from the lease, they must pay a flat-rate compensation for the expenses already incurred by the landlord and the lost profit at the following rates:
Withdrawal up to the 45th day before the start of the rental period: 20% (but at least €25)
Withdrawal up to the 35th day before the start of the rental period: 50%
Thereafter and in case of no-show: 80%

The idyllic town of Makkum, the holiday home, and the surrounding area invite you to a wonderful vacation with a variety of activities.
It's just a few minutes' walk to the Ijsselmeer and the beach. The wide beach and shallow waters make it a fantastic place for families, especially with young children, to enjoy beach days. Kids will be thrilled with the various playgrounds and play options around the park and on the beach.
For water sports enthusiasts, the area offers a multitude of opportunities. Beginners and advanced courses in windsurfing, kitesurfing, and catamaran sailing can be booked on-site. The typical Dutch canals are perfect for extensive boat trips or stand-up paddleboarding. One must not forget the comprehensive and well-signposted network of bicycle paths. The nearby nature reserve is great for walking. The town center of Makkum, about 2 km away, awaits you with various shopping facilities and restaurants;
Getting there
You leave the A7 at exit 16 Witmarsum/Makkum and follow the signs to Makkum. Once there, follow the signs towards "Holle Poarte". At the third roundabout, you will find the 'Beach Resort Makkum' park on the left side.
