Holiday destination
Lush green alpine meadows with cows (cow ascent on June 15th), mountain goats, and marmots await you. Hike in magnificent, untouched nature, fish at Falkertsee and enjoy the tranquility. Bathing in warm, clean lakes in the area and much more are offered by the Nockberge mountains. The lift facilities at Falkert provide the desired slope for every skier and snowboarder, from the baby lift to the more challenging runs. But also the World Cup track in nearby Bad Kleinkirchheim, the great descents in St. Oswald, and also the Turracher Höhe with their very beautiful ski areas are definitely worth a visit. For cross-country skiers, many groomed trails in the ski areas on and around Falkert offer wonderful opportunities to enjoy the beautiful nature.
Getting there
DIRECTIONS:
from MUNICH > BAB SALZBURG (A8) > BAB VILLACH (A10) to the "MILLSTÄTTER SEE" exit
(3rd exit after Katschberg Tunnel), along Millstätter See until RADENTHEIN. At the end of RADENTHEIN, turn left towards BAD KLEINKIRCHHEIM.
After BAD KLEINKIRCHHEIM, in the next village, WIEDWEG, turn left towards FALKERT-SEE.
Just before FALKERT, turn right to the "KÄRNTNERHAUS" (a highly recommended and quaint local inn) – then drive up the road on the left, until you reach house No. 149 on the right side.

Die Ferienwohnung bietet viel Platz für die Familie und ist bestens ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, bei Anfragen wurde schnell geantwortet und geholfen. Auch für den Hund war die Lage ideal für Spaziergänge. Kärnten bietet mit seiner abwechslungsreichen Umgebung viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Wir können die Wohnung weiter empfehlen.
