In the surrounding area: Gardaland amusement park in Peschiera, thermal baths in Sirmione, Salò and Isola del Garda. For city lovers: Verona (30min), Venice and Milan are easily accessible by car (about 1.5h). In 2024, Manerba offers its tourists two highlights: On Sunday 19.05.24, the Giro d'Italia will visit. Manerba is the starting point for the Manerba-Livigno stage. On Saturday 15.06.24, all classic car enthusiasts will get their money's worth, as the "Mille Miglia" will pass through the town on this day.
Holiday destination
Manerba del Garda is one of the municipalities of Valtenesi, which stretches from Desenzano to Salò. The area is known for its wine production (Groppello and Chiaretto), as well as for its delicious olive oil, which is extracted in the autumn in the oil mills (Frantoio). A climb up to the Rocca di Manerba is worthwhile, as you are rewarded with a fantastic panorama of Lake Garda. Manerba offers a rich range of activities for those who love nature, water sports, hiking, or mountain biking tours.
Getting there
Take the Brenner Motorway to the Affi exit, then take the SR450 to Peschiera del Garda, and from there head towards Desenzano del Garda, then onto the SP572 to Manerba del Garda.

Wir sind sehr herzlich von dem Ehepaar Giangrasso bei unserer Anreise im Empfang genommen wurden inkl. Begrüßungsgeschenk mit Olivenöl und Wein, sodass wir uns gleich sehr wohl fühlten. Die Innenausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sogar frischer Kaffee, mehr als genügend Handtücher (auch für den Pool), Reinigungs-und Waschutensilien, Mülltüten, usw. standen uns kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Das große, sehr gepflegte Grundstück samt großem, sehr sauberen Pool und Gartenmöbeln (auch Liegen) hat unseren Urlaubsaufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Wir können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen, vor allem auch für Familien mit (kleinen) Kindern. Vor allem möchten wir aber den sehr netten Kontakt mit Familie Giangrasso hervorheben. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und bedanken herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft!

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Es ist liebevoll und komfortabel eingerichtet, zudem ist es sehr sauber. Handtücher waren sogar doppelt vorhanden, es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Garten bietet viel Platz zum Rennen und Spielen - die Kinder konnten jederzeit raus zum Toben. Die Vermieter sind viel mehr als das. Es sind Gastgeber, von denen wir uns wohl umsorgt fühlten. Gerade unter den gegebenen Umständen, waren wir deren Entgegenkommen sehr dankbar. Sehr gerne wieder!
