Holiday destination
Our holiday home is located on the southern slope of a valley basin. It is only a few minutes away from the Rorhaarsteig, 5 minutes from the 18-hole Schmallenberg golf course, 15 minutes from Winterberg with its international bobsleigh and toboggan run, ski jump, ski slopes and cross-country trails.
Also of interest: the Karl-Mai Festival in Elspe, the tourist mine in Ramsbeck and the Panorama Park Sauerland, Bigge, Sorpe and Möhnesee with water sports
Getting there
Winkhausen is on the B 236 between Schmallenberg and Winterberg, more precisely between Gleidorf and Oberkirchen. The best way to get there:
from the north via the A 44/A445/A46, exit for Meschede,
from the south and west via the A 45, exit for Olpe,
from the east e.g. via the A 44, exit for Wünnenberg, then via the B 480 to Winterberg, further on the B 236 to Winkhausen.
Coming from Schmallenberg, turn left immediately after the entrance sign "Schmallenberg Winkhausen" towards the golf course onto the street "Über dem Ohle" and then after a few metres turn right onto "Am Weidehang" and right again onto "Auf dem Kamp".

Wir haben über Ostern ein paar schöne Tage in dem tollen Haus verbracht. Es war alles da, was man benötigt und die Sauberkeit ist hervorragend. Alles in allem haben wir und sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe haben allen gut getan. Vielen Dank an die super netten Vermieter.

Wat een mooie en complete vakantiewoning van Markus en Melanie. Mooie terrassen buiten, heerlijk ruim binnen en voorzien van een volledig ingerichte keuken met meer dan voldoende tabletten voor de vaatwasser en wasmiddel voor de wasmachine. In de kamer een overvloed aan spellen en met de beschikbare wifi kan je op je laptop gewoon je eigen Netflix of Prime abonnement kijken. Je hoeft hier eigenlijk alleen jezelf en je kleding mee te nemen. Bedden zijn opgemaakt, (sauna) handdoeken aanwezig.
Je krijgt ook de SauerlandCard waarmee je korting krijg op veel plaatsen, zoals het zwembad en fietsverhuur in Schmallenberg. Daar zijn ook diverse supermarkten om inkopen te doen voor een smaakvolle avond met de super BBQ van het huis.
En dat alles voor een zeer schappelijke prijs.
Kortom, een aanrader eerste klas.
