In addition to the nearest beach at Sint Maartenszee, there are other noteworthy beaches nearby such as in Petten, Callantsoog, Camperduin with a freshwater lagoon, Julianadorp. Den Helder with the ferry terminal to the island of Texel is 15 km away. Alkmaar with its famous cheese market and beautiful canals is about 20 km away.

A convenience store for shopping and bread rolls is 100m away (open from April-October)
The beach can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. The next larger town Callantsoog with a cozy center, restaurants, and shops is 6 km away. There is also an Albert Heijn supermarket there.
Worthwhile excursions: Alkmaar, Schagen, Den Helder for a day trip to Texel, the nature reserve "Zwanenwater" just before Callantsoog, the dune area in Schoorl with many dune hiking trails.

Liebe Familie Fischer,
in Ihrem Ferienhaus haben Sie viel Wert auf Behaglichkeit gelegt. So war der Ofen im Wohnbereich wie der Warmluftlüfter im Bad bei den doch teilweise kühlen Abenden Gold wert.
Ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser für jeden Bedarf, ordentliche Pfannen und Töpfe waren vorhanden.
Der uneinsehbare, ausbruchssichere Garten, sorgte für einen entspannten Urlaub mit Hund.
Im Park ist es sehr ruhig mit viel Vogelgezwitscher. Ganz nach unserem Geschmack.
Wir komme gerne wieder.
