Holiday destination
The village of Burgen is a wonderful starting point for hikes into the Baybach Valley, the Moselsteig or the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig. The varied region offers you many possibilities: Cycling tours along the Moselle or over the heights of the Hunsrück or Eifel, boat trips, castle visits or a detour to Koblenz are just a few examples.
Getting there
By car:
A61 exit Dieblich, B 49 direction Cochem (Burgen).
A48 exit Kobern-Gondorf, Moselle bridge Niederfell o. Alken, B 49 direction Cochem (Burgen).
By train:
From Koblenz to Kattenes or Karden railway station. We are happy to pick you up at the station.
By bus:
Line 301 (VRM) from Koblenz main station (bus platform K) to Burgen "Wingertsweg".

Wir haben uns die Wohnung anhand der ansprechenden Fotos ausgesucht. Unser Vermieter hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns auch Tipps für unsere geplanten Wandertouren gegeben. Beim Betreten der Fewo sind uns sofort der zauberhafte Fliesenboden im Flur und vor der Küchenzeile aufgefallen. Die Wohnung mit Galerie ist sehr geschmackvoll, sauber und mit hochwertigem Holz eingerichtet. Unter dem Haus gibt es eine große Terrasse mit Garten und Liegemöbel und Strandkorb. Sogar eine Fasssauna gibt es. In dem kleinen Genussladen wurden wir natürlich ebenfalls fündig. Und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist toll. Ein wunderschönes Häuschen in einer landschaftlich sehr reizvollen Gegend. Unbedingt empfehlungswert!

Von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt.
Sauberkeit auf ganz hohem Niveau.
Das Gastgeber Ehepaar einfach nur toll und zuvorkommend.
Ruhige Lage.
Waren im März vor Ort, hatte noch fast alles geschlossen, der Bäcker im Ort nur ab Mittwoch und dann nur vormittags geöffnet, was uns jetzt nicht störte .
Toll mit der Faßsauna im Garten das machte den Tag am Ende noch erholsamer .
Noch zu erwähnen, der kleine Laden im Haus ,einfach super .
Tolle Wandertour mit dem Gastgeber gemacht .
