Other recreational opportunities
All types of water sports, mountain and winter sports. Rowboat and surfboard (for paddling) are available. Older bicycles are available and can be used (if they are in working condition). After prior consultation, a smaller sailing dinghy (Optimist) for children and young people can be made available for skilled sailors.
Holiday destination
The house is located in an exclusive marina called Port Ripaille, which offers tennis courts, a heated pool, a children's playground, a restaurant and much more, although one usually spends most of the holidays on the lake. Within walking distance there is a small supermarket and other restaurants, the next larger town Thonon is 5 km away. The towns and villages around the lake (Evian, Lausanne, Montreux, Geneva, Yvoire and many more) offer unique recreational opportunities.
Getting there
By car, parking directly in front of the house. By train to Lausanne, then by boat and taxi or directly by train to Thonon-les-Bains SNCF. By plane to Geneva.

Wunderschön gelegenes und renoviertes Reihenhaus direkt am Wasser. Freundliche, entspannte Nachbarn. Schlüsselübergabe durch sehr höfliches Personal vor Ort. Großzügig Ende der sechziger Jahre angelegte Marina mit Pool, Tennisplätzen und Restaurant. Private Atmosphäre durch Zugangskontrollen. Vermieter stellen Surfbretter, kleines Segelboot, Ruderboot und Fahrräder kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Im Übrigen perfekt ausgestattetes Haus, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Großer Fernseher mit vielen Programmen (hatten wir allerdings nicht ein einziges Mal eingeschaltet). Sehr schöne Räume. Lage ideal für Wassersportler. Toller Strand nur wenige Meter entfernt (Kieselsteine). Wunderbare, in Deutschland weniger bekannte Gebirgslandschaft. Ganz tolle Bergwanderungen möglich (Blick auf Viertausender). Überaus nette Vermieter.
