Cancellation policy
Cancellation by the renter
(1) The tenant can withdraw from the rental contract before the rental period begins by sending a cancellation notice to the landlord in writing. The time the landlord receives the written cancellation is the time of cancellation.
(2) If a tenant withdraws from the rental contract, they must compensate the landlord for expenses that have already been incurred and for profits that have been lost by paying them a single, one-time fee in the sum of the following amounts:
Cancellation up to the 45th day before the start of the rental period: 20% of the total rental price (minimum amount: 25 euro).
Cancellation up to the 35th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the total rental price.
Later cancellations and no-shows: 90% of the total rental price.
(3) The tenant retains the right to prove that the landlord has not been caused to suffer any losses, or only a negligible amount of loss.
(4) When withdrawing from the contract, the tenant may name another tenant who is ready to enter into the existing rental contract in their stead. The landlord can decline the third person if they do not appear to be able to pay the fee or are unreliaable. If a third party assumes the rental contract, they and the previous tenants will pay the landlord any additional costs arising from the tenancy of the third party.
(5) The landlord undertakes, in good faith, to try to rent out any unused accommodation to another party. If successful, the landlord undertakes to offset any moneys thus saved against any cancellation fees they are due to be paid.
(6) The right to terminate the contract without notice in exceptional circumstances is otherwise retained in accordance with the statutory provisions.
(7) As far as the tenant is concerned, an important reason for cancellation arises in particular if the landlord does not grant the tenant use of the holiday apartment in line with the rental contract.
(8) The tenant is advised to procure holiday cancellation insurance.

By train:
In 45 or 55 minutes you can reach the centre of Tübingen from the Stuttgart central station (ICE connection).
Once you get there, it's easy to reach the holiday apartment by hopping on bus line 1 or 2 or taking a taxi, for example.
By plane:
From the Stuttgart airport, you can reach the holiday home in 25 minutes by car or in 50 minutes with the airport bus.
The Airport Sprinter shuttle bus departs for Tübingen every 30 minutes from Monday to Friday, and every 60 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Tübingen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Einzig, dass die Ferienwohnung an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt und es daher es etwas laut war, war ein wenig störend.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt am Haus, ein Bäcker (der auch Sonntags geöffnet hat) 50m entfernt und ein sehr gemütliches Boxspringbett. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen.
