Our beach house MeerZeit is located in the beautiful and tranquil Yperhofpark, right next to a tulip field. Julianadorp aan Zee lies along the 30 km stretch of dunes between Bergen and Den Helder in North Holland. Here, you'll find a lovely shopping center (including Aldi, Lidl, and Deen), the fishmonger de Boer, a great ice cream café, numerous restaurants and cozy cafés, several doctors, a pharmacy, and other charming shops.
The house is situated in a small and quiet park surrounded by tulip fields. It features a beautifully landscaped garden that is fully fenced and bordered by hedges. A large playground is available in the park. Across the street from the park, there's a 9-hole golf course (golf lessons available), 6-hole family golf (suitable for everyone, play to your heart's content), mini-golf, and a new subtropical swimming pool (giant slide, whirlpool, children's pool). Julianadorp aan Zee has been awarded the "Blue Flag," signifying its clean and high-quality beach. The breathtaking sunsets are a must-see at the beach restaurant "PAAL 6" (open year-round) or during a beach walk.
There are fantastic excursion destinations that leave no room for boredom, such as Den Helder: Fort Kijkduin, the Marine Museum, the lighthouse at Huisduinen, the harbor, and the weekly market. The island of Texel: with a ferry departing every half hour from Den Helder. Alkmaar: historic old town, canal cruise, cheese market. IJsselmeer: the Afsluitdijk, Medemblik, Hoorn. Amsterdam: canal cruise, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House. Beverwijk: the largest bazaar in Europe.
