The apartment is located on the first attic floor of the villa and is composed of 2 bedrooms (the first with 2 double beds and the second with three single beds), a large and bright kitchen-living room with zenithal light, 1 living room with view of the Candia hills, 2 bathrooms attached to the bedrooms (+1) and 2 terraces where it is possible to eat outdoors. The living room has 2 4-seater sofas. The apartment is equipped with all comforts (air conditioning, free internet connection). Access to the apartment is autonomous. The owners, Alessandro Paolo, Anna and a bloodhound named Vito, live on the ground floor.
Our guests can relax in the garden and use the swimming pool. In the garden there is a table for eating and a barbeque for cooking.
The whole area is full of small restaurants or trattorias where it is possible to taste the wine produced on site and the typical dishes of the area such as tordelli alla massese, lardo di Colonnata, rice cake, testaroli with pesto (Lunigiana) etc.
The swimming pool can be used from 1 June to 15 September.

From the city of Massa you can easily reach both the sea and the mountains with its beautiful paths that cross the Apuan Alps. The beautiful cities of Lucca and Pisa are about 30/40 minutes away. In the immediate vicinity there is Pietrasanta, a small jewel that attracts artists and art workshops and Sarzana with its beautiful historic centre.
The villa is located in the immediate vicinity of the city (the center is about 3 km away), in the hamlet of Mirteto, at the foot of the Candia hills, surrounded by other houses and equipped with a garden full of plants and palms of all kinds. All services can be reached in a few minutes. The sea is about 4.5 km away.
The city of Massa is located at the foot of the Apuan Alps facing the sea, a fortunate position that allows you to enjoy the entertainment of the Versilia coast and beautiful walks in the Alps with enchanting views.
A short distance away (about 30-40 minutes) are the cities of Lucca and Pisa with their splendid views. At the same time you can reach the beautiful Cinque Terre park (a UNESCO heritage site) with its typical colorful villages overlooking overlooking the sea and the steep slopes planted with vines. The Cinque Terre can also be reached with a convenient rail connection and by sea, with a boat which provides daily connections during the summer.
The Lunigiana valleys offer splendid opportunities for those wishing to spend a peaceful day enjoying excellent traditional cuisine and visits to ancient medieval castles that stand on the tops of the hills. A very short distance away are the cities of Pietrasanta (known for its artistic workshops), the charming city of Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi with its shops where the best fashion brands are found and the delightful city of Sarzana with its historic center and the castle. From the Malaspina Castle which dominates the town of Massa you can admire the splendid panorama that embraces the Riviera from Viareggio to the Golfo dei Poeti with splendid sunsets over the sea.
For mountain lovers there are many paths, from the easiest to follow with children to those for experts. For trekking enthusiasts there is also a beautiful road that crosses the mountains, designed in the 18th century by the architect Vandelli which connects the city of Massa with Modena. This road was initially designed for horse carriages but is currently used by hikers who appreciate the clean air, the silence of the mountain and the beautiful views it offers. The city of Carrara is worth a visit for its artistic workshops and the marble museum

Paolo ha progettato e costruito la casa e insieme l'abbiamo arredata comperando vecchi mobili nei mercatini dell'antiquariato e restaurandoli con pazienza e amore al fine di accogliere i nostri graditi ospiti in un ambiente caldo e confortevole.
