    Enjoy the crystal clear sea and the endless beaches of Messara Bay, the rolling hills in the surroundings for hiking and walking, explore the archaeological sites of the Minoan Palace of Phaistos, the ancient Roman capital of Gortys, and immerse yourself in the lively life of the nearby villages.
    Holiday destination
    There is a large range of activities available in the neighboring region. Enjoy the fine sand and shimmering clear water of Komos Beach. Hike through impressive landscapes or explore the nearby archaeological sites of Faistos, Agia Triada or Gortys. Hang out in the cool hippie village of Matala, find bargains at the weekly markets in Tympaki or Moires and sit down to delicious food sold at traditional taverns and rustic restaurants.     Die Villa Chalikia ist ein sehr schönes gemütliches Haus in toller und ruhiger Lage mit einem schönen Ausblick. An der Ausstattung für den täglichen Gebrauch fehlt es an nichts. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern sowie die Betreuung vor Ort waren einwandfrei, unkompliziert und sie sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Der kleine Ort mit einigen typisch griechischen Tavernen ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Traumhafte Strände sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

    Meine Frau und ich haben eine tolle Zeit dort erlebt, die leider viel zu kurz war. Die Villa ist traumhaft auf einem kleinen Hügel gelegen, von wo aus man wirklich schnell im Örtchen Kamilari oder dicht bei in Pitsidia, Kalamaki oder Matala ist. Die Gastgeber Stefan und Rita, aber auch die gute Seele vor Ort, Andrea, haben alles getan, um Fragen im Vorfeld zu beantworten, vor Ort mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung zu stehen usw. usw. ... Egal, ob Empfehlung für den Mietwagen-Verleiher oder ein paar Einkäufe für uns, die bei Ankunft schon im Kühlschrank warteten... zB ein eiskaltes Bier:-) Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man in einem Urlaub so benötigt.... von Kaffee Kapseln über Waschmaschine und Mikrowelle bis zum Fön und AirCon, wenn's mal zu heiß ist. Klare Empfehlung, ein echter no-brainer :-)
