Dear guests,
Kampe House has a lot to offer: good furnishings and space for you, your family and/or your friends in Tyrol's beautiful landscape. Family-friendly prices, children up to 7 years of age: free of charge; between 8-15 years: 10 EUR per day. Pets are also welcome (5 EUR per day surcharge)
The three bedrooms offer space for up to nine people. 1 double room, 2 triple rooms (one with a bunkbed!) and a sofa bed in the reading room. There is also also a cot in one of the triple bedrooms.
After an relaxing day in the Tyrolean mountains, enjoy some cooking with your loved ones in the modern kitchen, play together in the recreation corner and relax by our cosy fireplace. Read your way through our diverse library. Enjoy a pleasant holiday stay on wooden tiles and eco designer flooring.
Sunbathe on the south-east balcony and when it's hot, relax on the cool north-west balcony, the sunbathing lawn or enjoy the summer on the south-east terrace with a cheerful sunny breakfast. The small garden is fenced and therefore ideal for children to play in. Here they can swing to their heart's content.
Parking for three cars is available directly at the house, including a garage parking space, which removes the need for scraping ice in winter. Due to the steep driveway, we recommend that you fit snow chains or bring good winter gear, because parking below on the street is unfortunately not allowed and car journeys are therefore not possible!!!
Also included: three toilets, two newly renovated bathrooms each with a shower (a comfortable rain-effect shower!), bed linen and towels are provided, radio/satellite TV, washing machine, wood for the fire (guests must buy or obtain wood themselves if they make repeated use of the fireplace), a (really) old grandfather clock, a comfortable Tyrolean bedroom with corner sofa and corner bench, a vestibule/staircase with rustic bannisters and a wonderful view of the stunning mountains.
Private WiFi, free-of-charge; there are also free hotspots on the mountain railway in the centre of the village (approx. 800m). During the cold season, the house is heated with modern, climate-neutral biomass pellet heating system: good for your eco-conscience :-)
Hiking, cycling and skiing area next door and a cross-country ski trail right on your doorstep. The WildschönauCard gives you discounted or free entry to a variety of attractions in the valley, such as free gondola railway use, free skiing bus in the winter....

We would be delighted to welcome you to our holiday home in the Wildschönau, in the idyllic village of Auffach, in the near future.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Come on, get in touch!!
We built the property ourselves, with much love, and furnished it gradually. The old-fashioned Tyrolean, cosy character of the house has been retained and continues to enchant our guests. Some guests have been coming to Kampe House for more than ten years.
We love our holiday home because it always offers a faraway retreat from the stresses of everyday life. The forest next door, the sunny breakfast terrace, the extremely cosy living room, the breakfast cowbell in the vestibule, the sounding of the nostalgic grandfather clock...
In the summer, the Wildschönauer Ache sends us to sleep and and we have had some fantastic evenings with our friends in this house. We also love our wagtails, spotted flycatchers, green woodpeckers and the bats which frequently fly past.
The way that Kampe House radiates a mixture of modernity and tradition is simply unique. The wooden fence around the small garden means that children can romp around unsupervised. The same goes for dogs, which are welcome at our house. Anyone who wants some time to themselves can hide away with a book on the balcony or in the reading room. The reading room has an 80's stereo system - cool!!! There is also a Smart TV as well as a home entertainment system with Bluetooth, DVD, Blue-Ray, media libraries...
We think that the counter door between the kitchen and the living and dining room is really practical. We enjoyed playing Punch and Judy with it as children.:-)
We look forward to your stay!!!!

The surroundings of Kampe House have a lot to offer. Here is a brief overview:
Right next door, there is a large skiing and hiking area in the rolling Alp landscape with 140 km of slopes (the skiing jewel of Alpachtal/Wildschönau). Also perfect for ski-tourers and snowshoe hikers.
The Alpachtal/Wildschönau skiing area has won many awards in "value for money", "family friendliness" and "condition of prepared slope". There is no mass tourism in our area - it is family-friendly and calm. It's also a hidden secret for mountain bikers. There are a lot of cultural events in the summer. Childcare and events in the Dragon Club are very popular in the summer months. There is an open-air pool in Oberau and there is also a water park with a sauna area and action slide in Wörgl. Whoever enjoys climbing can get their adrenaline pumping on the high rope course in Oberau and in the Wörgl climbing hall. Anyone who loves spectacular nature will get their money's worth in the many gorges in the area (Kundler Gorge within walking distance, Tiefenbach Gorge, Wolfs Gorge, Kaiser Gorge,...). Interesting towns offer shopping experiences in Wörgl, Kufstein, Innsbruck, Kitzbühel,.... The mountain landscape in the Haflingerhof, right in the neighbourhood (500m from the house), can be enjoyed on horseback. Your physical well-being is also taken care of, there are many places to indulge or just get a bite to eat as well as rustic alpine huts in the Wildschönau, the largest cheese alm in the Tyrolean lowland, "Schönangeralm", is only a few kilometres away with a beautiful mountain landscape and excellent summit and alpine tours (for example to the Große Beil, 2310m). There are various mountain railways nearby (Schatzberg, Marchbachjoch, Alpbachtal, Wilder Kaiser/Brixental, Rofan, ...) which can get you higher up quickly, for brilliant panoramic experiences. Carriage rides are highly recommended if you want to go slower. Always popular with tourists in the valley - the mountain farmers and wood museum as well as the herb garden. The small adventure mine in Thierbach (one of the most pristine villages in the Alps) and a walk around the Thierbacher Kogel are also popular.
There are wonderfully refreshing bathing lakes about 45 minutes away by car (Reintaler See, Berglsteiner See, Krummsee, Hechtsee,.....).
Medieval enthusiasts will enjoy the medieval fortresses, for example in Kufstein, Rattenberg.
In addition, you can embark on a range of excursions, such as the Krimmler waterfalls, the Großglockner high alpine road, the Innsbruck alpine zoo, the Swarowski crystal worlds, the Oberaudorf and Walchsee summer slides, the rare animal zoo in Ebbs, the city of Munich, a day trip to Italy....
The incredible nature, with its varied alp landscape with just under 50 managed hill farms, is really stunning. The surrounding area is still home to rare animal and plant species, e.g. wood grouse and black grouse, golden eagles,
marmots, deer, hoopoes, three-toed woodpeckers, chamois, common ravens, dippers, various orchids, rust-red alpine roses, ...
Kampe House is perfectly situated in Auffach in the Wildschönau and you are just a short trip away from all kinds of landscape in the high valley. Your holiday home is almost 900 m above sea level. in winter, snow is guaranteed in the Wildschönau. In summer, the Wildschönauer Ache guarantees fresh air and a pleasant climate. In addition, the location has no through traffic or cul-de-sacs in the beautiful alpine area Schönanger, has retained its original charm and is family-friendly and is close to nature. The Wildschönau is famous for its sustainable tourism!
Kampe House is situated right on the forest and village outskirts of the holiday village of Auffach. You can reach a number of inns and bars on foot in just a few minutes, or by the free Nightliner night bus in winter. The village centre is approx. 15 minutes away on foot via the panoramic stream path, which is cleared in winter. The free ski bus is a 3-minute walk away. It connects Kampe House with all skiing areas of the high valley - Marchbachjoch, the skiing jewel of Schatzberg-Alpbachtal, in just a few minutes! You can leave the car :-)
Go on the Inn Valley motorway towards Wörgl, drive onto an adventurous, winding country road to Niederau, on via Oberau and Mühltal to Auffach. Alternatively, from Wörgl train station, take the post bus for the Wildschönau to "Tegelanger" station. From there, it is just 200m to Kampe House.
