Holiday destination
Our small village is located in the middle of the biosphere reserve of Schaalsee, about 15km away from Ratzeburg and Mölln.
Zarrentin which has a monastery well worth a visit is only 8 km away by car.
The well-known fish restaurant of "Maräne" and a café are within walking distance.
The nearest town for shopping would be Zarrentin, Ratzeburg or Mölln.

From A24 exit Gudow, then towards Hollenbek, Seedorf, Groß Zecher or coming from Lübeck via Ratzeburg towards Seedorf, next village Gr. Zecher

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen in der Ferienwohnung Schaalseeblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und mit Liebe eingerichtet, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Unser Hund wurde mit einer Tüte Leckerlies willkommen geheißen. Die Wohnung liegt ca. 150 m vom See entfernt. Zu der Wohnung gehört ein Seegrundstück, daß man sich mit einer zweiten Ferienwohnung teilt. Das Wasser ist sehr klar und lädt zum Schwimmen ein.
Wir haben jeden Tag auf der großzügigen Terrasse/Balkon gefrühstückt. Hier fehlte uns leider der Blick auf den See, daß wäre perfekt gewesen. Nur oben vom Kinderzimmer konnte man den See sehen.
Ein rundum erholsamer Urlaub mit vielen Wäldern und Seen in der Umgebung. Wir können die Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen, vielleicht kommen wir noch einmal wieder.

Wir wurden herzlich von Familie Schlabes empfangen und hatten Glück dass wir ein bisschen ehr rein konnten.
Das Haus ist klasse ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht, Grillanzünder inklusive :-)
Das Boot ist wirklich in einem guten Zustand und der See ist überragend. Die ersten Fische sind schon gefangen.
Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen, dann nur länger.
