The tourist village of Neudorf with its popular holiday park Birnbaumteich is located in the southern Harz between the first historical European and Müntz town of Stolberg and the UNESCO town of Quedlinburg, 10 minutes from one of the most beautiful valleys in the Harz and the lovely Selketal with its oldest steam-driven narrow-gauge railway.
The flat high plateau is an excellent hiking area, especially for older people and children. Countless ponds around Neudorf invite you to go fishing, rowing and swimming.

From the B6 via Quedlinburg, Gernrode, Harzgerode towards Neudorf
or from the A 38, Roßla exit via Hayn towards Neudorf

Wir sind alle begeistert gewesen von dem Haus. Die Betten waren bequem, das Haus war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Wir wurden herzlich willkommen geheißen, nicht nur persönlich sondern auch mit einer kleinen Begrüßung neben der Tür. Ebenfalls wurde sich vom Vermieter nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir die Sterne und auch das näher kommende Gewitter ausgiebig beobachten. Für die Kinder waren auch ausreichend Spiel und Tobe Möglichkeiten vorhanden. Man kommt von dem Ferienhaus zu jeder Sehenswürdigkeit, die man sich aussucht.

The three of us, unfortunately only one week, were guests in the dreamlike vacation home Chalet Harmonie. We lacked nothing, everything you need for a carefree vacation! We liked the surroundings very much, we made many excursions (mine, GDR museum, etc.). Special thanks go to the host family Filbrich, who welcomed us very warmly and with whom we had very nice conversations! All in all a great vacation, we will definitely come back soon!
