Holiday destination
Bretteville-Sur-Ay is small coastal village not far from the market town of La Haye du Puits (market Wednesday) And the beautiful fishing port of portbail. Further afield of the towns of Barneville-Carteret, Granville and Cherbourg. Day trips to Jersey are possible, as well as Tom th nature reserves of the îles de Chaussey and Tatihou. There are local markets within easy driving distance every day, and many fetes and festivals throughout the summer.

Der schöne Geschenkkorb als Willkommensgruß war eine nette Überraschung. Das wirklich sehr saubere Haus besticht durch seine ruhige Lage in der Sackgasse und Strandnähe. Im Mai ist es dort absolut ruhig. Der Staubsauger war top. Hunde sind im Schlafzimmer und in der oberen Etage nicht erlaubt. Uns fehlte ein Mülleimer in der Küche und Deckel für die Töpfe und Harken (z.B. für Hundeleinen) in der Garage. Der Garten ist rundum komplett eingezäunt (Mauer 1,50m). Der vordere Teil ist etwas niedriger, durch die Einfahrtstore (Gitterstäbe) könnte ein kleiner Hund entwischen. Am Abreisemorgen ist der Vermieter 15 Min. vor der vereinbarten Zeit - inkl. lieber Putzfeen - in das Haus gekommen, ohne auf Einlass zu warten. Ich finde ein "No Go"! Und unser Hund hätte ja auch anders reagieren können.
