Omišalj is an ancient, beautiful place with small, narrow streets and a Mediterranean vibe. In the center of Omišalj, you will find restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, post office, bank, and pharmacy. Close to the sea, there is a historical site "Fulfinum-Mirine" with remains of an early Christian basilica and Roman city. The "Rijeka" airport is only 2 km from Omišalj. The old town is perched eighty meters above the sea.

Schöne saubere Ferienwohnung mit großem Balkon. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die Tipps gab und unkompliziert via WhatsApp erreichbar war. Das Haus liegt weit oben in Omisalj und man hat dadurch einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Zum Strand sind wir mit dem Auto gefahren, weil wir zwei Stand-Up-Paddleboards dabei hatten. Außerdem ist der Weg zum Strand steil. Was aber auf ganz Krk so ist.
Unser Strandparkplatz war kostenlos, das ist aber nicht überall so, in Omisalj sind es aber faire Preise, was man nicht von allen Stränden auf Krk behaupten kann.
Ein Lidl ist direkt in der Nähe der Ferienwohnung, hat 7 Tage die Woche geöffnet. Weitere Supermärkte im Ort vorhanden.
Wir waren rund um zufrieden.

In dem Haus gibt es nur zwei Ferienwohnungen. Da wir die Ruhe suchen, haben wir uns entschlossen, einer dieser Ferienwohnungen zu buchen. Leider waren in der anderen Ferienwohnung sehr laute Nachbarn, die auf dem Balkon stundenlang laut erzählten und eine Zigarette nach der anderen rauchten. Außerdem befand sich eine Sitzecke genau unter unserem Schlafzimmerfenster, die auch von der Vermieterfamilie genutzt wurde. Uns störte vor allem der Lärm und die Geruchsbelästigung durch Zigaretten.
