Holiday destination
Simply walk down Mühlenstraße (150m) and you've reached the fascinating harbour, the marina, ferry terminal and the beach with swimming area. It is also an ideal starting point for bike or car trips to the nearby coast, Kiel or to Holstein Switzerland.
Laboe is located about 17 km north of the regional capital Kiel.
A little farther away in the north is the so-called "South Funen Archipelago" with its Danish islands Langeland and Ærø. Laboe lies nestled on the western shore of the "Probstei" landscape with its many fields, forests and lakes, and thus belongs to Holstein - from a historical standpoint.
Aside from its white sandy beach, the Baltic resort is also known for its harbour and the Laboe Naval Memorial.
In the summer season, the spa administration organises an extensive cultural and entertainment programme that includes harbour festivals.
Laboe also has an indoor seawater pool.
The 8 hectares large dune landscape Laboe is one of Schleswig-Holstein's nature adventures and ideal for extensive walks.
Getting there
By car: Take the autobahn to Kiel, continue on the B502.
By train: Kiel central station, there you can take the bus no. 100 or the Fördefährlinie (ship) to Laboe.

Host informationI've been letting our 2 apartments in the house Mühlenstr. 5a in Laboe for over 20 years. Since that time we try our best to keep the house and its flats, the parking spaces and garages as well as the green spaces in the outdoor area in an excellent condition.

Die Ferienwohnung ist schön und gut ausgestattet. Sie war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist genauso wie beschrieben.
Familie Schmidt hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und war sehr nett. Luxus war die Garage, in der unser Auto geschützt stehen konnte.
Rund herum war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir können die Vermieter und die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Nach längerer Pause waren wir mal wieder da. Diesmal ein glatter Reinfall. WC sehr unangenehme Spuren, Dusche kalkig, Gummidichtung an der Duschkabine kaputt. Kaffeemaschine verkalkt, Toaster ekelhaft dunkel, Geschirrspüler innen am schimmeln, Bratpfannen total zerkratzt und unbenutzbar (wurde aber behoben nach Beanstandung), Küchenutensilien teilweise mit Essensresten versehen. Teppich im Wohnbereich sehr fleckig und alt, Sofa durchgesessen, Fensterscheiben sehr schmutzig von außen und innen(u.a. Handabdrücke der Vormieter). Matratzen sehr hart, Bett knarzt sehr laut. Im allgemeinen sehr abgewohnt und heruntergekommen. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier leider überhaupt nicht. Sehr schade, denn wir waren immer gerne da. Wir werden aber leider nicht wieder kommen. Vermieter sind aber dennoch sehr nett.
