Holiday destination
The house is located on the outskirts of the village of Santa Domenica - in the immediate vicinity of Tropea (Unesco-awarded!) and yet with the absolute tranquility and flair of authentic village life. It is in a breathtaking location directly above the sea, well proportioned, with a large, fenced plot. With a view over the sea, the Liparu islands and especially Stromboli, one of the few continuously active volcanoes in the world, it is stunning.
Getting there
Pick-up and delivery service to and from the airport can be arranged. If you arrive with your own car, or rent one at the airport: the journey takes a good hour.

Wir haben 14 Tage im weißen Haus am Meer verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick auf's Meer ist wirklich wunderschön, vor allem zum Sonnenauf- oder Untergang. Zu sechst hatten wir viel Platz. Die Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert, sodass es sich auch bei heißen Temperaturen gut schlafen lässt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man im täglichen Bedarf braucht. Wir hätten sogar Kuchen backen können. Das Haus war blitzblank bei unserer Ankunft und wir wurden persönlich empfangen. Der Abstieg zum Strand ist, gerade auf den letzten Metern, etwas abenteuerlich. Da nicht alle von uns so gut zu Fuß sind, waren wir lieber mit dem Auto in Riaci oder auch Tropea Baden. Landschaft und Leute sind wunderbar. Tropea ist wunderschön und es gibt noch weitere schöne Orte in der Umgebung zu entdecken.

Es war schön hier, das große Haus liegt fast direkt am Strand, man muss schon ein wenig laufen um an den "Privatstrand" zu kommen. Das Haus hat eine eigene Küche und es ist auch alles da um sich selbst zu versorgen. Im Sommer bietet das Haus Abkühlung. Auch in der Innenstadt hat es uns sehr gefallen, es gibt ein paar Restaurants und Bars, die Einheimischen kamen uns freundlich vor. Für Selbstversorger ist ein Supermarkt in weniger als 8 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen, auch findet jede Woche ein Markt statt, den man auch zu Fuß erreichen kann. Es empfiehlt sich ein Auto zu mieten um in die anderen Städte zu kommen. Wir würden wieder hier buchen, da auch die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sehr angenehm ist.

schade, daß das Haus als solches nicht 100% zugesagt hat! Wir sind jetzt selbst wieder vor Ort und checken alles gründlich, woran es gelegen haben könnte!
