For bookings cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival, guests will receive a 100 % refund. For later cancellations, there will be a 50% refund. We have an uncomplicated and free cancellation policy due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Our Rotes Hüsli is located in Todtnau-Herrenschwand in the southern Black Forest. We have created a place where you can spend wonderful days in the midst of nature at our holiday home situated over 1000m above sea level. The small village has only a few houses, so you will be surrounded by nature. Many leisure activities, the modern retreat and the beautiful surroundings make a for a perfect holiday in our Red Hüsli. By car: Follow the signs for Herrenschwand, Präg and Todtnau.
Bus: Herrenschwand has a bus stop right in the middle of the village, 100m from the Red Hüsli.
By train: The nearest train station is in Todtnau.
By air: The nearest airport is in Basel/Mulhouse or Zurich.

In Summe absolut weiterzuempfehlen. Alles problemlos, am Anreisetag stand ein Essenskorb als "Starterkit" parat.
Die Ausstattung ist komplett, da kein Backofen da ist, wäre evtl. eine Mikrowelle wünschenswert.
Lage: sehr abgeschieden und relativ weit oben. Das ist vorteilhaft für Wanderungen (z.B. Hochkopf). Für Stadtbesichtigungen (Freiburg, Basel, St. Blasien usw.) oder weitere Ziele (Schluchsee, Blackforest-Line) muß man halt leider Serpentinen ohne Ende fahren bis man am Ziel ist (und abends zurück).
Im Ort gibt es ein Hotel mit Gaststätte auf gehobenem Niveau, auch die Preise. Aber für die gebotenen Speisen trotzdem in Ordnung.
Das Schlafzimmer ist im ersten Stock, über eine sehr steile Stiege zu erreichen. Im Sommer unbedingt tagsüber alles abdunkeln, sonst wird es sehr heiß dort oben.
