Rötenbach is located central and is a ideal starting point for trips for example:
Titisee, Hinterzarten, Feldberg, Freiburg, Rhine Falls Schaffhausen, Triberger Waterfalls, Europapark Rust, wonderful tracking and skiing areas. We are located in the border triangle - so you are quick at the lace constance, in Switzerland+France+Austria.
With the guest card you can drive with bus and train through the Black forest free of cost. So you can explore the Black Forest without your car because Rötenbach has a train station.
Getting there
By car:
Over A5 - motorway exit "Freiburg Mitte - B31 direction Donaueschingen
Over A81 - three-leg interchange "Bad Dürrheim" onto A 864, then B27 and then B31 direction Freiburg
By train:
Via Freiburg with the "Höllentalbahn" to Neustadt. There you have to change trains. The next stop is Rötenbach. Here you have to deboard

Familie Hug hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Gastgeber die man sich nicht besser wünschen kann. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch die Umgebung ist wunderschön, obwohl ich gehbehindert bin konnten wir so viel davon geniessen. Wir sind uns sicher, daß wir noch mal wieder kommen - und wenn es dann wieder ein Bachfest gibt - könnte ich nicht glücklicher sein! Das war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!

vielen, vielen Dank für den so positiven Eintrag in unser Gästebuch.
So Gäste zu haben ist für uns auch ein Traum. So nett, so sauber, so unkompliziert...und noch vieles mehr.
Drei Tag Musik vom Feinsten und das von dem Balkon aus war wohl genau auch nochmal das i-Tüpfelchen für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

Liebe Maria,lieber Erich,nun konnten wir schon das 5.Mal eure schöne Fewo bewohnen.Es war,wie immer,wunderschön bei euch.Ihr seid eben unschlagbar liebe Gastgeber und die Fewo ist einfach gemütlich. Rötenbach hat eine tolle Lage,um den ganzen Hochschwarzwald zu erkunden. Im Dorfladen gibt es absolut alles zu kaufen.Vielen Dank euch beiden für euren herzlichen Empfang!!! Hannelore und Hubert

Ist das schön von Euch so eine gute Bewertung zu bekommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank dafür. Ihr Beide seit uns ja auch richtig ans Herz gewachsen. Auch freut uns, das Ihr Euch bei uns im Garten so wohl fühlt. Morgens immer unterwegs und Nachmittags im Liegestuhl gemütlich mit einem schönen Buch.
Wir freuen uns jetzt schon wieder auf ein Wiedersehen.
