The Bienenkorb is located in a small village in the Markgräflerland, on the slopes of the "Blauen", a 1165m high mountain. "Germany's Tuscany" is in ideal starting point for exploring the diversity of the border triangle. Alsace, Switzerland and the dversity of the Southern Black Forest are on your doorstep.
Hikers, skiers, snowshoe trekkers, mountain bikers, golfers and culture enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. You can choose from a wide range of culinary delicacies, e.g. different types of wine as well as the regional Baden and Alsatian cuisine.
Getting there
A5 motorway Karlsruhe-Basel, Neuenburg exit. Then via Müllheim towards Badenweiler. Right at the Aral filling station, immediately left towards Kandern, Sehringen. 500m after the village entrance, there's a narrow section (!); after 200m you'll see a bus stop shelter; make a left at "am Grünen Baum", then a right. On the left is a yellow house with red shutters, which means you have reached the Mondweide / Bienenkorb.
