In the southwest of Tuscany, at the height of the island of Elba, away from the tourist mile and surrounded by medieval villages, lies our Podere (Tuscan farmhouse) Follona. The nearby sea (about 14 km) offers a high recreational and recreational value.

In addition to the numerous recreational opportunities and rest, Podere Follona is an ideal starting point: Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Grosseto and Massa Marittima are all nearby.
You can also make nice rounds on foot or by mountain bike.
Castiglione della Perscaia delights with its beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, the promenade and sunset, but also wineries like Mortelle or Rocca di Frasinello are nearby.

Getting there

Podere Follona is located in the Maremma between Caldana and Vetulonia (about 3km south of Caldana), surrounded by fields, pines and cork oaks. The 360 ° view is unique. The distance to the sea is about 14 km (Castiglione, Punta Ala). The house leads you to a unpaved, about 2km long gravel road.

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren regelmäßig hierher und genießen die idyllische Lage. In der Umgebung gibt es immer etwas zu entdecken oder man kann einfach an den Strand fahren. Die Unterkunft bietet auch alles, was man braucht.

Wir haben zwei Wochen im Casa Lena verbracht. Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet und man kann gut mit bis zu 4 Personen darin wohnen. Die Unterkunft ist super ruhig und der Blick von der Terasse entspannt einen direkt. Man kann sehr gut einen Tag am Pool verbringen und wenn man mehr erleben möchte, ist das Meer und viele kleine toskanische Orte direkt um die Ecke. Selbst in Rom ist man in 2 Stunden. Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen für alle, die ein wenig Ruhe haben wollen und nicht mitten im Trubel wohnen müssen.
