Cancellation policy
Cancellation and Costs
1. The guest is entitled to cancel the booking free of charge within seven days after Vrijheid aan de Kust has confirmed the booking in writing.
2. In the event of a cancellation by the guest after the period mentioned in paragraph 1, the guest owes Vrijheid aan de Kust a cancellation fee. This fee consists of a fixed amount for administrative costs of €30, and a part of the agreed price:
• in case of cancellation more than three months before the arrival date, 25% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within three to two months before the arrival date, 50% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within two months to one month before the arrival day, 75% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within one month and one week before the arrival day, 90% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within one week before the arrival day, 100% of the agreed price.
3. The cleaning surcharge is included in the agreed price. The following surcharges are not included in the agreed price and will be refunded in full in the event of a cancellation: tourist tax, linen package, bed linen, towels, dog surcharge, early check-in, late check-out.
4. Bicycles, hand carts, and grills are rented by the guest through an external provider. These can be cancelled by the guest free of charge up to one week before arrival.
5. The guest can, if desired, take out their own travel and/or cancellation insurance, the costs of which are to be borne by the guest. Vrijheid aan de Kust is in no way responsible or liable for this.
6. In the unlikely event that a holiday accommodation desired or booked by the guest is not available as indicated in the reservation or booking confirmation, Vrijheid aan de Kust will offer a suitable alternative in another holiday accommodation. If the tenant does not agree with the offered alternative, the guest will be refunded the rent already paid in full.
7. Vrijheid aan de Kust offers the possibility of free cancellation (with the exception of the booking fee) in the case of travel restrictions imposed by the authorities in connection with Covid-19, up to fourteen days before the arrival date. The following travel restrictions apply: 1: Closed border in the country of origin or destination; 2: Mandatory quarantine upon arrival in the destination country or upon return in the country of origin in connection with a negative travel advice from the authorities. 3: These travel restrictions must be mentioned on the official websites of both the Dutch government and the country of origin. In case of cancellation within fourteen days, the guest will receive a voucher. (This applies to bookings made before 01.06.2021.)
8. The guest and all fellow travelers must comply with the guidelines regarding Covid-19 at all times, including those imposed by the authorities or the RIVM [National Institute for Public Health and the Environment]. The same applies to compliance with quarantine obligations upon arrival at the destination or upon return, also in connection with official travel advice. If necessary, the guest or a fellow traveler should be able to present proof from the general practitioner or health department that he/she has tested negative for Covid-19. The relevant information must be completed by the guest and the traveler immediately after booking in the customer portal of Vrijheid aan de Kust.

Holiday destination
The center of Julianadorp is just a 5-minute drive or bike ride from your villa. Many shops, restaurants, and the supermarkets Lidl and Aldi are very close by.
In 10 minutes, you can be in Den Helder by car and take the ferry to Texel.
The beach and the sea are within walking distance.
Getting there
With us, you can arrive and depart every day. Only in July and August, we have a fixed changeover on Saturday.
Please arrive between 3 PM and 5 PM
Please depart by 10 AM at the latest.

Das Grundstück ist schön gelegen und gepflegt. Der Weg zum Strand betrug ca. 15min. Das große Sofa, die bequemen Betten und das Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche waren super! Alles neu und gepflegt. Die Küche war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vielleicht wird diese auch bald ersetzt, was sehr schön wäre. Die Schränke in den Schlafräumen sind auch sehr alt und könnten ersetzt werden. Rollos für die Küche fehlten. Die Sonne brannte ab dem Nachmittag , so dass man nicht wirklich am Tisch sitzen konnte, weil man geblendet wurde und es zu heiß war. Unser Hund hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt und somit konnten wir uns entspannt im Garten aufhalten.
Wir würden wiederkommen, trotz der kleinen Mankos.
