Our holiday apartment on Ameland is located in Buren. Today, the place enjoys great popularity among tourists, as it is close to the beach and the town of Nes. From here, you can quickly reach the nature reserve "Het Oerd," which starts right behind the apartment complex. A bicycle rental is also just a few hundred meters away. Also located in Buren is the agricultural and beachcombing museum "Swartwoude."
For nature lovers, Ameland is a paradise. The landscape offers a variety of facets all on one island. Forests, dunes, beaches, polders, salt marshes, or even mudflats – all this can be found on Ameland. The island can be explored on foot or by bike.
