Cancellation policy
Terms and conditions (rights and obligations contained in the accommodation contract)
1. The contract is considered concluded as soon as the holiday home has been booked and confirmed.
This promise is made in writing (confirmation) or, if time does not permit, orally or by telephone.
2. the contract partners in the sense of the scope of services according to the offer (equipment and miscellaneous) are in principle landlords and tenants.
3. The signing of the contract obliges both partners to fulfil the contract, regardless of the duration of the contract.
4. The landlord is obliged to pay compensation to the guest if the holiday home is not made available. The guest is obliged to pay the agreed price according to the cancellation rates in case of non-use of the contractual services.
5. The renter can cancel the contract before arrival by written declaration to the owner. The time the landlord receives the written cancellation is the time of cancellation. If the renter withdraws from the rental contract, they must pay the landlord the lost profit in the following amount:
Cancellation up to 45 days before arrival 10% of the rental price
Cancellation 44 days to 33 days before arrival 30% of the rental price
Cancellation 32 days to 22 days before arrival 60% of the rental price.
Cancellation 21 days to 12 days prior to rental period 80% of the rental price
Cancellation 11 days prior to rental period up to start of the rental period 90% of the rental price
This only applies to those days on which it is not possible to let the accommodation out to other people.
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

7 Exclusive place of jurisdiction is the place of business.

Holiday destination
Hahnenklee lies in the Oberharz at an altitude of approx. 570m. Ideal holiday destination for guests from Northern Germany: with a mild therapeutic climate, mountains, valleys, forests, meadows and ponds. Accessible within a few hours, especially suitable for holidays with children and dog. Ideal for sports activities: Hiking, jogging, skiing, racing, biking, mountain biking. Everything in the midst of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Oberharzer Wasserregal" and near Goslar with its medieval old town.
Getting there
Journey by train or car: advisable via Goslar at the northern Harz border, especially in winter.
Continuation with Bus number 830 or with the car on federal road B 241 in the direction of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, then turning to Hahnenklee-Bockswiese. Via Bockswiese turn right to Hahnenklee.
Follow the main street and when it’s going uphill, drive right into the Hedwigstraße. At the end of the street drive right and immediately left into the Langeliethstraße. Drive straight on into a dead-end street directly on the property.
Host informationThe house has been in family ownership since 1955.
A holiday home was built on the property in 1959, far too small and not up to today's standards.
But the location was wonderful.
And so we were faced with the decision to tear down or expand and modernise.
We opted for the latter in 1997 and have not regretted the decision.
Through continual investing in our facilities, we can maintain quality - evidenced by our 4-star certification.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Hahnenklee. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt. Familie Budde aus Burgdorf

Wir haben das dritte Mal in dieser Ferienwohnung unseren Urlaub verbracht. Das Häuschen ist einfach toll. In ruhiger Lage und trotzdem in ein paar Minuten ist man im Zentrum. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem und das Zimmer im EG ist selbst für 2 Teenager absolut ausreichend.
Sehr erholsam hier und auch für Hunde super, denn man muss nicht ständig aufpassen, da das Grundstück eingezäunt ist. Die Vermieter sind freundlich, geben gerne Ausflugstipps und bemühen sich sehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
