Ca' della Vigna is just ten minutes walk away from S. Mark’s square and Rialto bridge, but there are many more famous Venice attractions and landmarks just a few hundred metres away from the apartment.
The whole area is dotted with small restaurants and typical “bacari”, (the Venetian sidewalk cafes), and a large supermarket with non stop opening hours is just 100 metres away from the apartment.
The nearest vaporetto station, connecting to the island of Lido and to both S. Lucia railway station and Piazzale Roma main parking lot is just five minutes away. After a short walk you will also find the vaporettos taking you for a day trip to the most beautiful islands of the Lagoon (Murano, Burano, Torcello).

Die Unterkunft, sowie der Kontakt zum Vermieter, waren sehr gut. Auch ist die Unterkunft sehr sauber. Für Exkursionen in Castello und San Marco ist man hier richtig.
Die Informationen zur Müllbeseitigung waren nicht aktuell.
Leider ist das Bad ( D-Zugcharakter) viel zu klein.
Die Wohnung ist im Sommer, aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage, auf gar keinen Fall empfehlenswert. Bei Ankunft stand uns ein Ventilator zur Verfügung, auf Nachfrage dann noch zwei zusätzliche.
