Long, wonderful walks on the nearby Baltic beach. Forget your worries and let yourself unwind... The work on our in-house sauna, which we're building on the 1st floor for our holiday guests, will be completed in the winter of 2017. A plus for golfers: A beautiful 9-hole green is about 8 km away, and Altenhofen boasts a 18-hole green (40 km).
Holiday destination
In the Speicher you'll also find the "Hafenheimat" for gourmets; our fine location at the harbour. In the afternoon we serve coffee with homemade cake, and in the evening you can try Spanish tapas with a Nordic touch. During the autumn and winter season, our top chef enjoys conjuring up selected meals: Of course we use fresh ingredients from our region every day.
Getting there
If you travel by car, take the A7 followed by the B203/Eckernförde. From the north: Take the A7 until Schleswig, then on the B201. You can also take the train to Eckernförde or Süderbrarup. From there, you can make use of the bus connections to Kappeln.

Host informationPassionate about sailing and the ocean. By owning the SPEICHER 5, we -Hella Peperkorn and Jan Kochen- have fulfilled a lifelong dream: To live by the water! In doing so, we get to be a part of this historic, listed building with its rich past and patina for a while. We didn't seek solitude on a lake surrounded by woods in the Canadian wilderness; we wanted liveliness and friendly, open-minded and warm-hearted people in our neighbourhood AND being able to see the colours of the water every time we gaze through the window. So we ventured out and used the opportunity to take the first step in leaving the stressful daily work behind and go on a spontaneous sailing trip on one of our classic sailing boats when the winds are right. We would like to invite you to visit and live this dream. The SPEICHER 5 can be fascinating... Enjoy your stay!

Der Ausblick,wunderschön!Man könnte stundenlang aus dem Fenster sehen.Nette Vermieter u.Angestellte.Strandkorb u. Parkplatz für den Strandbesuch inklusive. In Absprache mit den anderen Mietern. Funktioniert aber gut.Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass man direkt über einem Cafe/Bar wohnt,wo man was bis in die Nacht von hat.Kein Parkplatz direkt am Haus.Wenige Kostenlose in der Nähe. Kostenpflichtige verbunden mit einem Spaziergang vorhanden.Wohnung hell und freundlich.Mikrowelle wäre schön,Radio defekt.Bäder renovierungsbedürftig. Deshalb vielleicht keine Badbilder in der Beschreibung?!
