A short history of our house
Erected in 1848 as a farmhouse in the St. Veit (San Vito) district.
As early as the end of the 1950s, a small apartment was rented to holiday makers. At that time there was only cold running water, and therefore it was only suitable for the summer months.
In the sixties, through the installation of central oil heating, comfort was improved, and year-round rental begun.
In 1948, the northern part of the house was expanded. In 1966, the southern part was expanded as well, with 4 new guest rooms.
Fifty years later, in the summer of 2016, the house probably experienced the biggest renovation in its nearly 170-year history. The upper floor and attic were completely redone and adapted to contemporary use, without changing the external appearance. Even so, many of the old beams dating to 1848 were preserved in the new apartments.

Haus Oberpauler is centrally located in Sexten (Sesto) in the district of St. Veit (San Vito). An ideal starting point no matter what the season. Sexten (Sesto) in Hochpustertal (Alta Pusteria) is a small holiday paradise in the middle of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Ideal for sports-loving skiers, cross-country skiers, cyclists, mountain bikers or mountain climbers

Terms of payment:
€100 at the time of reservation with the balance due on the day before the end of your stay.
Cancellation policy
There are no cancellation fees up to one month before arrival.
From 29 to 14 days before arrival, 30% of the booking will be charged.
Beginning 13 days before arrival or by early departure, we charge 100% of the booked stay.
Tourist tax is not included € 2,50 per night, per person over 14 years of age

Hello, I'm Stefan, I'm 26 years old and I live in Sexten (Sesto). Last year my parents and I renovated Haus Oberpauler with a lot of passion and love. Out of the guest rooms, which my grandmother has been renting out since 1955, we've created 5 comfortable apartments. I like meeting people and just shooting the breeze with them.
