Holiday destination
The small village ends bout 100 metres behind the "Adele" holiday house, the road becoming a field track leading to the Voßfeld Forest. Undisturbed country peace and idyll ensure relaxation. Groß Varchow belongs to the community of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the catchment of the Müritz National Park. The local environment is characterised by lakes and fields, by manor houses, riding stables, forests and national parks (318 square kilometres), Germany's largest inland lake: the Müritz, by agriculture and gentle tourism.
Getting there
Coming from Berlin on the B96 (approx. 150 km):
Take the B109 north to the junction with the A 114.
From the A114 take the A10 to the Oranienburg exit (B96)
On the B96, pass the towns of Fürstenberg and Neustrelitz as far as the B 193 junction Penzlin/Neubrandenburg.
At Penzlin turn onto the B 192 towards Waren In Möllenhagen turn right at the traffic lights towards Lehsten.
Turn right before you get into Lehsten after 500m keep left towards Groß Varchow (1 km).
Our house is located on the left hand side of the road.
From all northerly directions, drive to Stavenhagen. There follow the B 104 to Kittendorf. After the entrance to the village turn left towards Bredenfelde and then follow signs for Groß Varchow.

Die Ferienwohnung von Frau Bauer ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und zaubert direkt eine urige Gemütlichkeit. Für uns als Familie mit 2 kleinen Kindern und einem Hund gab es viel Platz zum Entdecken. Der großzügige Garten war unser Highlight! Insidertipps zu Ausflügen in der Umgebung gab's auch und so hatten wir eine tolle entspannte, ruhige Zeit!
