Holiday destination
Behlendorf is a small charming village with about 400 inhabitants. Our most famous resident is Nobel prize winner for literature Günter Grass.
Health resort and town of Till Eulenspiegel Mölln and the minster peninsula Ratzeburg with its cultural sights are 10km away.
Behlendorf is located amidst pretty hills in a glacial valley where once the river Stecknitz and nowadays the Elbe-Lubeck sewer takes his path.
The surrounding is wonderful for cycling tours and hiking - no difference whether you want to walk across forests or along the lakes.
You can walk or cycle straight to Lubeck (25km), Hanseatic city and city of marzipan, or to Lauenburg (69km).

The biosphere reserve Schaalsee is an interesting place for natural excursions. The Baltic Sea beaches in Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg can be reached within 30 to 50 minutes.
Getting there
Take the A24 towards Lübeck/Berlin, exit Talkau to continue to Mölln-Nord towards Klinkrade. In Kühsen follow the left route crossing the railroad embankment. Pass Marienwolde, Gretenberge, at the intersection Albsfelde/Lankau go straight. After 1km turn right towards Behlendorf, Herrenstraße. Towards Berkenthin = Mühlenstraße 4

Wir waren zum ersten mal in dieser Gegend. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Landschaft sehr abwechslungsreich. Behlendorf sehr idyllisch allerdings keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ohne Auto oder Fahrrad keine Möglichkeit zum einkaufen.From Couple Hauck from Einselthum · 23.09.2023

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Der Garten von der Eigentümerin sehr gepflegt und traumhaft angelegt. Frau Lahzt war eine sehr emphatische und fürsorgliche Vermieterin.
Vielleicht sollte die Vermieterin über einen W-Lan Anschluss nachdenken. Man ist in der Wohnung leider etwas abgeschnitten.

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Für uns war die schöne Lage, als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren nach Ratzeburg, Mölln und Lübeck wichtig. Das Beste war die Badestelle am Behlendorfer See die keine 500 Meter entfernt ist. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat sofort für unsere Fahrräder Platz in der Garage gemacht Die Kirchenglocken haben nur jeden Abend um 18.00 Uhr und am Sonntagmorgen geläutet, was uns überhaupt nicht gestört hat.
